Qualifying 2200EX outdoor stain colors may include up to a 3-year color-fade warranty. Lighter shades may carry shorter coverage.

Mold-growth inhibition

Helps inhibit mold growth on the treated lumber. Moisture management, drying, and jobsite housekeeping still matter.

The public technical evaluation documents mold-growth-inhibition testing using ASTM D3273 and ASTM D5590 methods.

Fungal-decay resistance

Resists decay fungi within the documented exposure conditions. It does not replace flashing, drainage, ventilation, or maintenance.

Subterranean-termite resistance, including Formosan termites

Resists subterranean termites, including Formosan termites, within the current product scope. Untreated wood and cellulose remain outside the protection package.

Exterior-focused water repellency

Adds exterior-focused water repellency for approved above-ground applications. It is not a ground-contact claim or a substitute for proper detailing.

The documented 2200EX scope pairs preservative performance with exterior-focused water repellency under the specified installation and exposure conditions.
